Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd of August saw Rounds 7 & 8 of the Naylor Engineering National Hillclimb & Sprint Championship move to Effin, Co. Limerick. A fantastic challenging route was selected by the Limerick Motor Club and had a return road, which came as a delight to all competitors.

Seamus Anderson blew the engine in his Anglia but the Mullinavegas native dashed home and returned back with his spare Anglia and was ready to compete for Sunday.
