The Hillclimb & Sprint Committee are delighted to announce that Naylor Engineering are to continue their sponsorship of the National Hillclimb & Sprint Championship for 2016. Speaking recently from his base in Carnew in Co. Wicklow, John Naylor MD of Naylor Engineering said that when he was approached initially a number of years ago to sponsor the National Hillclimb & Sprint Championship, he didn’t have to think twice about it. “I have been involved in Hillclimb & Sprint events as both a competitor and organisor for more years than I care to remember and I’m delighted to now through Naylor Engineering be able to give something back to the sport” John commented.
The 2016 Naylor Engineering National Hillclimb & Sprint Championship will be contested over the following events.
April 23/24 Clare/Galway Hillclimbs Rounds 1 & 2
May 21/22 Wexford Sprints Rounds 3 & 4
June 11/12 Imokilly Hillclimbs Rounds 5 & 6
July 2/3 Carlow Hillclimbs Rounds 7 & 8
July 30/31 Limerick Hillclimb/Sprint Rounds 9 & 10
August 13/14 MEC Hillclimb Rounds 11 & 12
September 3/4 Donegal Hillclimb Rounds 13 & 14
Best 9 results to count and in order to receive awards in the Championship drivers must compete in at least 6 rounds.
